When physical limitations hinder your potential

You've been through multiple rounds of physical therapy and rehab… and you’re starting to feel like you’re just another Patient ID number on the list?

The same old exercises, over and over.

The same hands-on manipulation.

But the same nagging injuries resurface time and time again.

Constant setbacks leave you feeling defeated and unmotivated. And you’re doubting your ability to return to your physical peak.

“Injury is not just a process of recovery, it is a process of discovery.”

— Connor McGregor

Your cycle of immobility doesn’t need to be perpetual.

It’s an opportunity for you to grow.

Our athlete-centric, progress-focused approach goes beyond temporary fixes. We uncover the "why" behind your injuries.

Your current symptoms will subside. You’ll have underlying imbalances identified and corrected.

Take back control of your recovery: the process and the progress.

Resilience doesn’t come from just treating the immediate injury

Traditional approaches to physio focus solely on temporary symptom relief. But then no one is looking at what the root of these aches and flare-ups is.

Without addressing the underlying imbalances, you’re stuck on this paradoxical hamster-wheel of short-term relief followed by re-injury.

Get yourself clued up on hidden issues

— Daniel: weight training enthusiast & senior director of programming at Paramount

“I’d been having recurring lower back aches and shoulder pain for many years and had been to a variety of physios, they all seemed to help in the short term but the issues would return a year or two later.

They were just easing the pain and not going to prevent future flare ups. It just felt like I was in a vicious circle. None of the physios were giving me instructions on how to prevent future painful events.

Ollie has been very clear in explaining why I’ve been experiencing the kind of pain and discomfort I have and in prescribing a course of action to rehabilitate me.

What’s been great is the strength work he’s recommended.

The pain has almost all gone and the exercises are evolving as time and strength progresses.”

We need to co-engineer your big comeback

This collaborative process equips you with a deeper understanding of your body. And it lays the foundation for a hyper-personalised rehabilitation plan.

During your comprehensive consultation, we’ll get to know your:

  • Injury history, persistent issues, and previous rehab

  • Athletic background, training styles, and performance aspirations

  • Postural, movement and biomechanical assessments, unique to you

You’ll get to use the best testing equipment on the market. So we can co-develop a rehab roadmap. Integrating the most impactful exercises for you — short, sharp and effective — fitting around your busy schedule.

(Because who has the time to carry out 90 minutes of heel raises every day?)

Collaborating with the industry’s finest brains, braun & equipment

Structure. Accountability.
And serious progress.

— Rachel: semi-pro rugby player & exercise therapist coach

“Post-op, I had not been satisfied with NHS treatment. I felt like there was little examination, no hands on treatment, and a very random choice of exercises — some of which I was completely unable to do and some which was far too easy.

I thought about doing the rehab myself, but wanted the structure, better knowledge and someone to hold me accountable.

I have been impressed with the services.”

CASE STUDY —

Meet tennis pro, Josie. But chronic hip & lower back pain stopped her playing at the highest level.

With Josie’s previous therapists, she wasn’t given proper diagnosis. They only gave her a plan of action, recommending she stopped playing professional tennis, and rest.

After each round of treatment, the pain would keep coming back.

But then she started going to sessions with Move Better Rehab.

“With Ollie, we began movement right away with strengthening exercises, specific movement mechanics, using testing equipment to identify asymmetries and weaknesses. And he used soft tissue treatment occasionally to assist with tight areas of the body.

This different style of rehabilitation allowed me to return to the top level with no pain and no recurring issues.'“

We’ve found that our clients are more proactive if they understand the diagnosis.

They are more likely to buy-in to solutions to fix themselves, rather than being passive in the recovery process.

And that means recovery plans are carried out in full, not left by the wayside (because there’s minimal understanding of how those exercises are actually helping).

With Move Better Rehab, you can get a better understanding of what's happened and what you can do to fix the problem.

HOW TO BOOK —

The tailored game-plan begins at your consultation

  1. Submit an enquiry form (see below) with where you’d like treatment – Ollie will get back to you within 48 hours, even if its the weekend

  2. Together, we’ll organise a date & time that suits

  3. You’ll get confirmation directly from your chosen clinic (Henley or Soho)

  4. Come in for assessment & diagnosis of the injury – it’s always an hour for our first session

  5. Then we’ll create a follow-up treatment plan, that is aligned with the results from your mobility tests & movement analysis — follow-up sessions can be 30, 45 or 60 minutes long (it’s your choice)

FAQs —

“I don't have an injury.
Can I still book?”

Of course! We provide general sports massage to ensure you stay relaxed and fresh.

We also provide injury prevention sessions before you go and perform your favourite sports, so you’ll stay injury free and can perform to your highest level.

FAQs —

“I’m not an athlete.
Can I still book?”

Yes, we focus our work on an athletic demographic but this very much doesn't mean we only work with athletes.

So you can return to any activities that you want to take part in, but also make you more robust and stronger/fitter than you were pre-injury, so we reduce your chance of injury again.

Overcoming physical and mental barriers

— George: competitive Rugby Union player & marketing executive

“After experiencing a grade 2 tear of my ACL, I found it impossible to walk properly.

I would get thoughts of how I could ever kick a ball again, let alone running and changing direction.

Just all felt very alien to me and these thoughts came to mind a few times as I didn't understand or comprehend how I was going to get better.

I was just doing upper body exercises - nothing with my legs to avoid further problems, but wanted to be back playing rugby quickly.

Ollie was great for me as he understood my constraints, which is paramount, I feel.

He understood what I wanted to get to at the end of the process.

He was accommodating, adapting everything with my busy schedule. He was very approachable and eager to get me back playing.”
